Hallowe’en 2009 is a special time for Supernatural Events as we celebrate three years of ghost tours and investigations; but this year it also sees the beginnings of a brand new Blackpool Festival - SpookFest

SpookFest is a series of events spread over seven days celebrating all things supernatural. With ghost tours and investigations, psychic and ghost hunting workshops, gothic horror storytelling, an evening of spiritual mediumship, a murder mystery evening and even a theatrical representation of a Victorian spirit seance, there is something for everyone to enjoy (or not!) this Hallowe’en.

Sunday 25th October - day 1

• Are You Psychic? - an interactive workshop with Para-Projects (the team behind the hit Paranormal Channel show Spook School). Time: 4pm (ends 6pm). • Terrifying Tales with William Warlock followed by A Victorian Spirit Séance. An evening of Gothic Horror Storytelling followed by a theatrical representation of a séance that took place in 1868 in Victorian London (be careful though - you could be asked to join the séance!). Time: 7.30pm (ends 9.30pm - 1st act storytelling, interval 20 minutes, 2nd act theatrical presentation). Location: The Lawrence House Studio at the Grand Theatre, Blackpool. • SpookFest’s Hallowe’en Festivities will end in spectacular style with an Overnight Ghost Walk at Blackpool Opera House. Ian Lawman, perhaps better known as the Bad Boy of the Psychic World, after talking to the Kray Twins, passing and relaying messages from the other side to the underworld, Ian has now convinced some of the most hardened of sceptics with his confidence and laid-back style, even the notorious Dave Courtney was taken aback that much by something Ian had told him he wanted to put Ian’s proof in is new book.

Not only has Ian’s work shocked the underworld, he has many famous names under his belt, that consult with Ian’s gift. His work as stretched from the Living TV show Most Haunted, to Ian’s own show I’m Famous and Frightened, which reached over 2.5 million viewers, making this the biggest hit for Living TV.

Ian can be seen on LivingTV 2 in his show Living With The Dead. He is currently filming the new series at haunted locations throughout the UK; this will be broadcast in March.

The media now call Ian the Bad Boy with a style crossed between Jamie Oliver for his casual style and David Beckham for his mad and trendy looks. Ian has appeared on most daytime television shows along with programmes such as Big Brother’s Big Mouth and House Busters. He writes for Prediction and Chat’s It’s Fate magazines to name but a few and has been published in newspapers from the News of the World to the Daily Telegraph. He has appeared on every major BBC radio station and independents including Kerrang Radio! Currently Ian is completing his soon-to-be published book Ghost Hunter; Confessions of a Psychic Bad Boy.
